During lunch one day, I noticed the forms created by running a knife through soft margarine. I wanted to see if I could capture some of these complex forms using my 3D photographic system. I needed to hold the knife still in one tripod, while using another for the camera. Because the object was small, I reduced the horizontal displacement used between the photographs for the left and the right eyes.
