This was drawn directly from my own right arm, when I was 14 years old. This made it tricky to draw, because I then couldn’t use my right hand to hold my drawing. However, I prided myself on being able to undertake such challenges of self-discipline.

I also remember enjoying the idea of recording a resulting view of my arm from my personal perspective - now more commonly known as a ‘first-person perspective’, and wondered whether others would find this type of view interesting, feeling somehow familiar (as others see their own arm), or powerful?
