Drawn directly from life, probably from a seven-minute pose. I find that conté sticks are excellent for drawing quickly, accurately, and sensitively. I remember being introduced to drawing using conté sticks during my Art classes when I was in high school, and I remember feeling a real ‘wow’ from their smell and feel. They felt like they were real artist materials.
